ISPA Partners with ICF to Offer Pro Bono Coaching to Members
ISPA is partnering with the International Coaching Federation to offer pro bono virtual coaching sessions for its members through the ICF Coaches for Good initiative. Through this partnership, ISPA members have been pre-approved to receive support from an international group of more than 1,000 ICF-credentialed coaches.
ICF established the Coaches for Good initiative to help individuals and organizations around the world navigate the complex challenges presented by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As businesses and other organizations work toward reopening, ICF believes this guidance can be instrumental in helping them do so successfully and confidently. The initiative’s early focus will be on businesses and non-profits in those sectors most severely affected by the pandemic, including the travel, hospitality and food service industries.
”ICF and ISPA both recognize that opportunities for professional growth are more important than ever in times of crisis. Through ICF Coaches for Good, we are honored to connect ISPA members with credentialed coaches who will help them prepare for the future and prepare to safely reopen their businesses,” ICF Director of Strategic Partnerships Mark Ruth said.
ISPA has been given a limited number of codes for distribution to members on a first-come, first-serve basis. These codes—each good for two one-hour coaching sessions—will be distributed via email to members who choose to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity. Coaches from around the world will participate in the initiative, offering their services in more than 30 languages.
“We’re thrilled about the support ISPA members will receive through this initiative,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “The personalized coaching provided through Coaches for Good will be an invaluable resource for those in our industry, and we encourage our members to take advantage of this partnership.”
Coaches credentialed by the International Coaching Federation have met stringent education and experience requirements and have demonstrated a thorough understanding of the coaching competencies that set the standard in the profession. They also adhere to strict ethical guidelines as part of ICF’s mission to protect and serve coaching consumers.
