Dan Heath Announced as Opening Keynote Speaker for 2022 ISPA Conference

The International SPA Association (ISPA) is pleased to announce bestselling author and entrepreneurial expert Dan Heath as the opening Power Session keynote speaker for the 2022 ISPA Conference. ISPA is eager to welcome spa professionals from across the globe back in-person for the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic. The ISPA Conference will take place May 2-4 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and will feature an agenda overflowing with inspirational speakers and valuable education, plus an expo floor filled with the industry’s most reputable resource partners. 

Heath serves as a senior fellow at Duke University’s CASE center, which supports entrepreneurs who fight for social good. In addition, Heath is also an entrepreneur himself, having founded of the innovative education company Thinkwell. In addition, he has been recognized one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business and was named to the Thinkers 50, a ranking of the world’s 50 most influential management thinkers. 

“Spa leaders are fierce and have proven to be extremely resilient during the pandemic,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “Dan Heath’s message will set the tone for the Conference and empower ISPA attendees to tackle the challenges they are facing head on with his innovative approach and inspirational energy.”

Heath is the co-author of four New York Times best-selling books; Made to Stick, Switch, Decisive and The Power of Moments. Last year, Heath released Upstream: The Quest to Solve Problems Before They Happen, which explores why people become trapped in a cycle of reaction rather than dealing with a problem’s true source.
