LiveSpa to be Distributed at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The International SPA Association is proud to announce that LiveSpa Magazine will be distributed at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The 2008 edition of LiveSpa will be distributed to leading fashion journalists, celebrities and trendsetters during the week-long fashion extravaganza. The New York spring 2009 collections will be shown Sept. 5-12 at Bryant Park in what is always one of the most glamorous events of the year.
“It’s such an honor to have a presence at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to educate their attendees on the benefits of the spa lifestyle,” said ISPA Chairman Jim Root. “As 57 million people will visit a spa this year, it’s critical that quality education is available and ISPA is so proud to make it available through this new magazine.”
With its debut in June, LiveSpa magazine and it’s accompanying Web site, http://www.livespamagazine.com/, focus on educating the spa consumer. “Even the trendiest and most well-connected consumers have questions regarding what to expect during a spa visit,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “As one in four people have been to a spa and 15 percent of spa-goers are new to spas each year, it is imperative that we educate the spa-goer on everything before, during and after a spa visit.”
Articles include:
- Through the Eyes of a First-time Spa-goer – a behind-the-scenes look at a newbie’s spa experience
- The Mindful Approach to Aging – (Hint: there’s no “get young quick” scheme)
- Organically Inclined – What does “pure” and “natural” mean anyway when it comes to skin and body care products?
