Ann Alba

Raised in the family bar and restaurant business in Michigan; the “Art of Serving” is all that Ann Alba has known. Calling The Broadmoor home for the past 38 years, “The Red Flash” as she is affectionately referred to, credits much of her success to simply being in the right place at the right time. Per her reflections, the legacy of starting as a Banquet Server to Vice President and General Manager can only happen in hospitality. She attributes her success to the legends within our industry who mentored and paved the way to her current “dream job.” It is Ann Alba’s hope to do the same for those who are the “up and coming” service professionals. In her words, it is our responsibility as leaders to “pass the baton.” Along with her dedication to The Broadmoor, Ann is proud to be a member of the PPLA Board for close to two decades, currently holding the role of President. She has been recognized with CHLA’s ZENITH award, which represents her consistent high performance level of excellence and outstanding accomplishments. This embodies someone who best symbolizes exceptional service in the Hospitality Industry. Ann will tell you that service is a craft that should be celebrated. What started as a summer road trip to Colorado led her to the love of her life, The Broadmoor!
