ISPA Honors Kate Mearns with the 2026 Dedicated Contributor Award
The International SPA Association (ISPA) is proud to announce Kate Mearns, a longtime advocate for ISPA and the global spa community, as the recipient of the 2026 ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award. Mearns will be recognized during the 2026 ISPA Conference, taking place March 31–April 2, 2026, at The Venetian in Las Vegas.
With more than 30 years of experience in the spa industry, Mearns has been a leading voice in spa trends and wellness education. Her extensive contributions include speaking engagements, industry research, and articles published in leading spa and fitness publications. During her tenure on the ISPA Board, including two years serving as the ISPA Chair, Mearns helped strengthen member engagement, foster collaboration across the industry and develop strategies to meet growing consumer demand for wellness experiences while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Mearns also played a vital role in advancing the ISPA Foundation’s educational initiatives, partnering to create and publish resources designed to deepen members’ understanding of emerging trends and best practices in the spa industry.
“Kate has been a tremendous blessing to the global spa community,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “We are beyond grateful for her volunteer leadership and unwavering dedication to ISPA. Her passion and love for the spa industry inspire us all, and this award is a heartfelt and long overdue ‘Thank you!’”
Each year, ISPA presents the ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award to an active member who has made significant contributions to the growth of the association and exemplified ISPA’s mission and vision through their commitment and service.
