ISPA EVALUATES NEXT STEPS IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION
LEXINGTON, Ky. – As spas continue to open and be developed in the Asia-Pacific region, the International SPA Association has formed a group to evaluate next steps in this pivotal area. As the voice of the global spa industry, five percent of ISPA’s more than 3,000 members in 75 countries are from the Asia-Pacific region.
“ISPA’s Asia-Pacific community includes leading spa professionals from 24 countries,” said ISPA Chairman Jim Root. “Dedicated and influential volunteers Jesper Hougaard, Manoj Murjani and Peter Sng have formed this group to explore opportunities. We look forward to their recommendations and to enhancing offerings for members in the Asia-Pacific region.”
The three members of this group also serve on the ISPA Board of Directors. Details on these volunteers include:
- Jesper Hougaard is the managing director of Serena Spa Pvt. Ltd. and is based in the Maldives.
- Manoj Murjani is chairman and chief executive officer of The Wellness Group Pte. Ltd. and is based in Singapore.
- Peter Sng is the managing director of Spacare International Pte. Ltd. and is based in Singapore.
