The role of Spa Assistant Manager The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic. Essential Functions 1. Manage and oversee all Spa/Salon areas (Front Desk, Fitness Facilities, Locker Room, Relaxation Lounge, Treatment Rooms, Retail shop, Games and salon. (10%) 2. Interview and select job applicants as well as effectively supervise, discipline and give performance evaluations for spa employees. Foster positive employee morale. (10%) 3. Responsible for the administration of goods, requisitions, inventories, storage and cost effective usage of all department related products, according to standards and budget to ensure for smooth operation. (10%) 4. Oversee the operation of equipment and cleanliness in all spa areas and coordinate special requirements with Housekeeping, Laundry, and Engineering. (10%) 5. Effectively integrate the Spa with the Hotel operations wherever possible and in accordance to the direction of Spa trends. (10%) 6. Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes, as well as ways to increase sales and service. (10%) 7. Create retail purchase orders in accordance to pars and budget. Organize and facilitate quarterly retail inventory. (10%) 8. Coordinate group bookings and conduct on-site tours of the Spa with key meeting planners. (10%) 9. Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Empact. (10%) 10. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
