Located in the heart of Roche Harbor Resort, Afterglow Spa is a full service spa which caters to locals, hotel and marina guests. The 2,000 sq. ft. spa has 5 treatment rooms providing massage therapy, skin care/facials, hydrotherapy, nail care, body treatments, and retail boutique. Our anchor lines are Kerstin Florian, Pure Fiji, La Bella Donna, and Moroccan Oil.

Job Description

Afterglow Spa has a rare opportunity for a year-round, hands on Spa Manager to oversee the Spa operation at Roche Harbor Resort. Overview The Spa Manager oversees all aspects of the spa operation including massage therapy, skincare, nail care, hydrotherapy and retail. The manager must become an expert in the spa software and appointment booking system in Millennium. Staff related duties include recruiting, hiring, training, development and scheduling employees. In addition the Spa Manager will interact directly with customers to resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction with spa services and personnel. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Works closely with the spa director, responsible for the day to day spa operation. Must maintain a harmonious culture within the spa and support the spa mission statement. The spa manager will recruit and oversee all spa staff, manage operations budget, create and manage weekly/monthly appointment book. This includes maximizing reservations for spa services. Exceed customer expectations. Manage and maintain appropriate back bar supplies and retail inventory. Supervise facility maintenance, to ensure all equipment is in working order. Manage ordering of necessary supplies, and equipment. Work with spa director to develop spa menu, pricing and protocols. Organize and oversee staff training, development and reviews. Assist spa director in creating annual operational budget for the spa. Responsible for budgeted financial results. Create marketing and promotional campaigns. Organize training and events with product vendors. Compensation is hourly DOE, plus year end performance budget Ability to perform commission-able services may be negotiated. Job Requirements

Requirements Qualified candidates should possess a bachelors degree or hospitality/spa industry credential, such as ISPA Spa Management Certification, and or a service credential in massage therapy, esthetics or cosmetology. Basic computer skills in word, excel, and knowledge of or willing to master Millennium software. Management experience in hospitality or other service industry, and experience in retail and general POS transactions.

Job Status



D.O.E. hourly + commission $40,000-$50,000/annually
