Job Description The Spa Manager/Director will be responsible for operational oversight of the spa and report directly to Resort’s General Manager. The resort is seasonal but has a substantiative off season local business also. The right candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and display strong leadership skills to his/her staff. Responsibilities include: • Oversight and development of spa staff including therapists, nail technicians and hair dressers • Staff morale, goalsetting • Front Desk Operations • Guest Relations • Vendor Relations • Development and administration of budgets • Sales Forecasting, Budgeting and Payroll • Procurement of all Retail and Backbar • Scheduling This person will interact often with the resort’s Marketing and Social Media Staff, Catering and Special Events Staff, Reservations and Group Sales Staff to develop and implement the marketing calendar, local and special events such as weddings and large groups and more. Job Requirements Business or Hospitality Degree preferred, at least three to five years of management experience and ideally at least two of those years in spa management. The candidate must be familiar with spa software systems, Excel, Word, Google Docs and more.
