Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Hotel Operations, the incumbent is responsible for the successful operation of the Spa at the Golden Nugget casino resort. Directs spa employees, services, products and environment to ensure a positive Spa experience resulting in repeat/increased visits and increased purchase of products and services • Exhibit all conduct in accordance with Louisiana Gaming regulations and Golden Nugget policies and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations. • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. • Maintain all licenses required for the position and ensure all spa staff maintain required licenses/certifications. • Role model/promote discretion and confidentiality regarding guest information and shared conversations. • Oversee scheduling, daily work assignments, performance and guest interaction of Spa employees. • Ensure appropriate staffing to ensure guest satisfaction, Spa safety and cleanliness. • Investigate and resolve guest situations to best satisfy the guest and maintain good business practices. • Recruit, select, train, coach, counsel, recognize and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in business operations and guest service. • Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and Golden Nugget staff. • Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.
Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred. • Three or more years of customer service/guest relations experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Three (3) to four (4) years of experience as a spa manager at luxury resort. Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals. Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.
