Our Spa/Retail Manager is a highly motivated professional committed to superior guest service. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and managerial skills as this position is responsible for ensuring excellence in service and product in all facets of the spa and retail programs at The Ranch. 1. As the Spa Manager, this role oversees The Granite Spa offerings and manages the world-class providers who provide our exclusive treatments. This leader will work with other departments to combine their efforts to provide an active and relaxing Ranch experience. 2. As the Retail Manager, this role will oversee our three retail locations on property, The Mercantile, Spa retail and our Rod and Gun retail area. This candidate will work with the spa team to boost spa retail selling practices, the retail associate to boost The Mercantile sales, and the Rod and Gun Front Desk for sales in our activities area.
• Oversee and monitor all facets of the spa and retail operations • Adhere to safety and sanitary protocols • Interview, hire, train, supervise and evaluate all employees of spa and retail departments • Guide and supervise on-going program development and staff training • Managing inventory: loss prevention, profitability and conducting consistent inventory audits • Participate in the development of the spa and retail operating budget • Have an eye for product placement and visual aesthetics to generate sales • Maintain knowledge and understanding of spa industry • Conduct regular staff meetings for purposes of training, informing and inspiring the staff • Assist with the development of marketing and advertising and public relations plans to increase the visibility of the spa and retail • Represent the spa and retail in public relations events as needed • Responsible for maintenance and presentation of Spa and Mercantile areas • Dealing with vendors to order operating supplies and products to sell in the retail areas • Follows and supports our Ranch Standards/Forbes Standards/Mission and Core Values Qualifications • 3 years Management experience, preferably in a luxury resort • Organized and efficient with a great eye for detail • Experience managing at least 10 people • Warm, enthusiastic manner, with excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong administrative and management skill, including development and management of operating budget • Montana Licensure in spa services, preferable Esthetics/Massage • Experience dealing with vendors and purchasing
