Job Description

SUMMARY Nail Tech is responsible for greeting Blackberry Farm guests in the Spa, making them comfortable, and providing 5 star manicures and pedicures in accordance to Tennessee sanitation and sterilization law. The ultimate purpose is to provide relaxation and restoration to our guests. Must work with and aid other team members in spa operations to ensure a 5 star experience for the guest. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform manicures and pedicures Contribute to the development and improvement of services Stock product in the spa Understand all products in the Spa Remove soiled laundry Bring in clean laundry Assist in opening and closing duties Transport guests Attend the front desk if the coordinator needs to briefly step away Assist the guests with product selection and answer questions regarding products Ensure work area is clean and sanitized using approved sanitation procedures Willingness to receive training on new procedures Any tasks deemed necessary by manager to keep spa clean, stocked, and operating smoothly

Job Requirements

Must comply with all company policies and procedures. To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance in required. Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests. Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE TN State License for Manicurist or Cosmetology required 600 hours minimum education required 6 months experience working in the field preferred LANGUAGE SKILLS Must have excellent verbal communication skills Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic math skills REASONING ABILITY Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift boxes up to 35 lbs. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time Must be able to perform multiple services during shift Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart WORK ENVIRONMENT 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property Must be able to work in a calm and quiet spa setting
