We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join the company. To succeed in the role, the candidate must be organized, task and deadline driven, detailed, possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and have a strong startup entrepreneur spirit with a passion for delivering an elevated experience in total wellness.
Assist in overall operations and business launch Execute service initiatives, projects, directions and visions set by the Director and CEO Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive offering of services, events, and retail for launch and on-going Assist and collaborate on FF&E decisions during the pre-opening phase Develop and implement a strategic staffing plan; develop policies, procedures and best practices Assists in driving revenues and profits Responsible for managing departmental expenses and adhering to budget Responsible for managing supply inventory and creating loss prevention policies for company resources Assist in refinements of the company’s mission, vision, short-term and long-term strategic plan Responsible for staff development related activities Assist in website and App implementation and maintenance from an operational perspective Develop performance metrics and financial goals for operations and TCM practitioners Assist in recruitments, orientation, onboarding and training of new employees Responsible for performing an agreed upon number of hands-on acupunctures, Tuina and herbal treatments at the facility as part of the role Adheres to a high standard of expertise in techniques, knowledge of all TCM aspects and guest service skill Responsibilities can be changed from time to time as the business develops Ad hoc and special projects as assigned Qualifications Ability and willingness to conduct staff training and performance evaluations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess a professionally mature mindset applying solid judgment and problem-solving skills Fast learner, able to take direction with minimum supervision A “glass-half-full” type of personality with entrepreneur spirit Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workloads, and team player who collaborates well with others Diplomatic and outstanding professionalism, able to represent the RedMint in the Community Resourceful, punctual, and dependable, strong work ethic The utmost sense of discretion and extremely trustworthy The ideal candidate has a preference to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, and dynamic start-up work environment Comfortable with off-hours contact and can be available as needed Willing to continue providing service within this role for events, during the launch period and beyond. Strong proficiency in software and technology used in booking, tracking and operational duties High proficiency in Microsoft Office; tech-savvy Licensure in multiple modalities- i.e. massage, fitness instruction, etc. given special consideration Luxurious service provider at a resort or destination wellness facility experience preferred 5+ years of experiences in practicing TCM 3+ years of leadership experience Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree in TCM required Doctor of TCM preferred Current and valid license to practice Acupuncture in CA required Valid driver’s license required
