The Salon Lead administers professional services to our guests. They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous hair and/or nail care modalities, possess a general understanding of all treatments and be willing to train in our salon specific treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. They must hold and maintain a current NJ state license.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls. • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered. • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa/salon policies and procedures. • Perform prep work, properly clean and restock as required. • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa/salon that require attention. • Actively promote the spa/salon, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available. • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously. • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests. • Possess the ability to work without direct supervision. • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment. • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings. • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management. • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention. • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills. • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality • Must be a team player • Assist management with inventory counts and controls • Provide follow up on training, assigned tasks and check work for completeness and quality • Train and maintain visual presentation standards and general housekeeping SOP’s • Conduct training seminars on product initiatives and track results • In conjunction with leadership, hold regular department meetings for training and communication • Know and practice Hard Rock’s mission, mottos and values • Mentor and provide positive reinforcement to all team members. • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations. • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values. • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations. • Other duties as assigned.
