By using a straight single bladed razor, you are able to enjoy a cleaner and closer shave for a better overall shaving experience.

The offering has its roots in ancient practices.

Offering History:
It wasn’t until the 1800’s when straight steel razors were available that straight razor shaving was offered in barbershops all around the world.

Fun Fact:
In 1698 Russian Emperor Peter the Great, implemented a beard tax for those that wanted to have a beard. He thought this idea would be a great way to modernize Russia.

Comments about Offering Protocol:
Trim facial hair to 1/16 of an inch before shaving.  Hot water or hot, soaked towels are used to warm, moisten and prepare the face. Shaving cream is applied likely with a shaving brush.  A brush will lift hair follicles, produce a thicker, more luxurious lather, and exfoliate the skin. Face is shaved. Excess cream is wiped away with a hot towel.  After shave is applied to close up pores and complete with a cold towel.
