This year’s Conference is capped off by a new take on the official Farewell Party on September 26: a VIP experience at Chase Field as the Arizona Diamondbacks take on the Los Angeles Dodgers, on Wednesday, September 26 at 6:40 pm.
Last year’s Farewell Party was held at the LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay. Since the ISPA Conference & Expo first returned to Last Vegas five years ago, the Farewell Party has always taken a similar form: food, networking, drinks and dance in a Vegas nightclub.
Don’t get us wrong — we love those four things as much as anyone. But with the 2018 ISPA Conference & Expo taking place in Phoenix for the first time ever, it seemed like the perfect time for a new approach to the Farewell Party.
“Each new venue brings forward fun new opportunities for the Farewell Party,” said Crystal Ducker, ISPA Vice President of Research and Communications. “With the state-of-the-art ballpark right next door willing to customize a VIP experience for ISPA, it was an easy decision.”
From start to finish, the entire Farewell Party will be tailored towards an incredible spa-centric experience. After entering Chase Field through a private VIP entrance at Gate K—that's in right field, off of Jefferson Street—ISPA members will be free to explore an expansive, exclusive two-story space that includes executive suites, terraces, a five-star restaurant and seats for watching the game.
To ensure that everyone has time to get to the Farewell Party after the final day of Conference closes, the Expo floor will now close at 3 pm. The final round of Education Sessions will now be from 3-4 pm.
And that’s not everything (or everyone) who will be there: we’ve got a few surprises up our sleeves, including a VIP guest and a special ISPA appearance on the field.
The Farewell Party will be a great chance to make those last-chance connections, enjoy a final night in Phoenix and tie-off any loose ends from your Conference experience.
Every full-conference attendee receives a ticket to the Farewell Party with their registration; exhibitors ticket allotments are part of their booth packages. Additional tickets cost can be purchased for $130 per ticket by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
