Everything New at #ISPA2018

Everything New at the 2018 ISPA Conference and Expo

Over the last six months, the ISPA Blog has highlighted all the incredible new things going on at the 2018 ISPA Conference & Expo. With just a few weeks before the entire international spa industry convenes in Phoenix for three days of connection, education and inspiration, we’re collecting the highlights in one place.

Here’s what you need to know about the big new things at #ISPA2018.

Phoenix, Arizona

The biggest change for 2018? Our relocation to the Valley of the Sun. Phoenix, Arizona, is sure to be an incredible host city. Spas located in and around Phoenix are offering special deals to ISPA members, and several downtown restaurants are offering exclusive discounts, as well. Phoenix’s extensive park system offers a way to experience the unique desert environment without ever being more than a few minutes from civilization. To top it off, the Phoenix metroplex features world-renowned museums, diverse activities and a widely-celebrated food and nightlife scene.

Phoenix Convention Center

Perhaps more than anyone, the spa industry appreciates the value of being environmentally conscious—so it’s no surprise that the eco-friendly Phoenix Convention Center (PCC) is the host of this year’s Conference. The PCC’s West Building is LEED Silver certified, indicating its commitment to sustainability. The Convention Center utilizes solar energy, an organic garden, biodegradable materials, and much more to go green. We’re sure that you’ll love being in such a green-centric space for the 2018 ISPA Conference & Expo!

The Farewell Party

This year’s Farewell Party is a one-of-a-kind experience at Chase Field, where the Arizona Diamondbacks will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. ISPA attendees will have access to a VIP area in right field that includes two levels, a five-star restaurant, terraces and box seats.

After the game, the Farwell Party will continue with a dance floor and a DJ until midnight.

The Farewell Party kicks off at 6:40 PM. Attendees can pick up their passes starting at 5:30 at Gate K.

Experience Center

The Experience is an all-new interactive and engaging space where attendees can explore immersive treatments from spa industry leaders. Divided between Treatment Areas and Experience Studios, the Experience Center offers a unique way to network with new faces and experience the latest innovations in spa products and treatments.

Appointments can be booked in advance.

Vendor Education

New for 2018, ISPA will feature four vendor Education Sessions at the ISPA Conference & Expo. These sessions are paid for and sponsored by ISPA resource partners and will feature content curated by each brand. The sessions are:

Sheraton Grand Phoenix

This year’s host hotel may not have an in-hotel spa, but ISPA has partnered with ISPA Gold Sponsor Zeel to provide on-demand massage services for ISPA attendees. Just download the Zeel app and book your massage using code ISPA40 to receive $40 off an in-room massage.
