Beware of Hotel "Pirates"

Beware of Hotel

With Conference registration season in full force, hotel reservations are in the forefront of everyone’s mind. Unfortunately, scammers know this and are ready to pounce!

Hotel pirates and poachers are ever present in the Conference community. Each year, these scammers reach out to exhibiting companies, members and prospective attendees with false messages claiming to be with the official housing company for the ISPA Conference & Expo. The information these companies/individuals provide is often untrue, and may include hefty service fees, refer to non-existent room blocks, false rates and include non-refundable deposits.

Never provide any credit card information to any of these companies reaching out. They are sly, crafty and not to be trusted. The attendISPA.com hotel reservation link is the only official hotel reservation link. All reservations must be made directly through The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino to be included in the official ISPA Room Block and to access ISPA’s special hotel rates. ISPA does not have an official travel agency.

To help ISPA combat these issues, please send any non-official ISPA emails or phone solicitation details to ispa@ispastaff.com so we can ensure companies are not taking advantage of the ISPA community.
