Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Manage daily spa operations and future bookings insuring a coordinated effort between guest services, the bath department and service providers. The Guest Services Manager (GSM) is directly responsible for the daily operations of the spa, with direct oversight of spa coordinators and Estheticians. This includes, but is not limited to the management of the spa staff to assure standards of performances are being met and exceeded, hiring, supervising, training, developing and scheduling of the staff and maintaining efficient and accurate scheduling of appointments to create exceptional customer experiences. This position will ensure positive communication between spa coordinator staff and provider staff and regularly updating all policy and procedure manuals. The GSM will be the first responding manager on duty during working days and is directly responsible for guest service satisfaction. Additionally the GSM will assist the General Manager (GM) and Retail Manager in the management, direction and development of the retail department and the strategy of the spa as a whole.

To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each task proficiently.  Able to work without direct supervision.  Able to work varied schedules that include weekday, weekend and holidays, including day and evening hours.  Able to remain calm and courteous with demanding people and difficult situations.  Excellent customer service skills.  Excellent communication skills.  Strong analytical skills, including ability to read financial reports and track statistics.  Marketing and retail sales knowledge.  High level of organization skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize.  Excellent teaching and training capabilities.  Strength in leadership, coaching, team building and interpersonal relations.  Able to problem solve and resolve conflicts exercising good judgment.  Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guest, employee and spa information.  Able to enforce spa policy and procedure.  Able to multi-task and prioritize.  Able to be consistent in job performance and professional attitude.  In depth knowledge of Osmosis history and Cedar Enzyme Baths.  Perform requested duties of the GM
