The Activities Director is responsible for the creation, planning and implementation of Activities in the hotel. The procuring of resources and organization of said activities is essential in the day to day operations of Camp Oak, Culinary event center and the holiday activities within the resort. These activities include children and adult activities. The Activities Director coordinates with vendors ensuring that all are compliant to federal and state laws, and have the proper insurance coverage and contracts. The Activities Director will liaise with essential Department Heads to book and promote activities throughout the resort. As Activities is a revenue generating department, it is expected that the implementation of new programs or maintenance of established revenue programs be made, and marketed and promoted through various channels within the resort working closely with Marketing and Revenue Management.
