Influential Speakers Presenting on the Importance of Spa Trends

Here are three of ISPA’s PDS speakers that will be presenting on customizing spa for the consumer as it pertains to digital wellness and design at the conference this year:

Barbara Badolati, wellness expert, expressive movement devotee and life coach extraordinaire, will address the megatrends happening in the wellness industry in her interactive “Positioning Your Spa for Digital Wellness” session.

Attendees will learn new well-thy trends for services, products and consumables, discover the power of influencers and see how they can better align themselves with passionate wellness enthusiasts.

Diving into the tech side of things, tech ethicist and digital citizenship expert David Polgar presents a 360-degree view on the growing field of digital wellness and how it relates to the spa industry.

In his talk, attendees will learn how spas are well-positioned to attract clients that are looking to achieve a better tech balance, in addition to immersing themselves into current digital wellness trends. Polgar will also provide examples of unplugging retreats.

On the design front, Bob Henry, founder of New York-based architectural firm, Robert D. Henry Architects, will be presenting on “Design Trends that Bring Clients and Revenue,” driving home that bigger isn’t always better in facility design. He is known in the spa industry as the “Sensuous Architect of Serenity.”

Henry will explain how to change a space to offer services that leave a “client memory” using regionally inspired treatments that include affecting the five senses. Through his fascinating session, attendees will learn how to design a signature treatment that drives your design with spa programs.
